Temper Flare

It’s probably fair to say that many motorists (myself included) may have lost our tempers while driving behind a cyclist at some point.

But cursing and angrily shaking our fists out our car window isn’t going to get us to work any faster, nor make the cyclist in front suddenly shifty gear and be able to ride as fast as cars on a freeway.

Motorist patience can run as thin as the Lycra being sported by many a cyclist, but what’s the point of taking our road rage out cyclists?

Yelling at cyclists to “get on the footpath” (which is actually illegal in NSW unless you are under 12 years old) isn’t going to make your commute any better, so don’t put a damper on theirs by taking your bad morning out them.
